Tea & Cake

Tea & Cake is a joyful abstract painting full of playful colour and movement.

Painted in 2024, this piece grew from an exploration of circles, rhythm and layered marks. The colourful forms gather across the canvas like little moments of conversation, a bit like friends sitting around a table sharing tea and cake!

Soft greens, pinks, corals and warm neutrals weave through the painting, with brighter accents popping up here and there. The layers of acrylic paint create depth and texture, giving the surface a lively, energetic feel.

This work celebrates simple moments of connection and the joy of colour.
